They are digging a hole to bury DW4. The Texans are spectators, no help! The lawyer will play up Cuomo, and the Atlanta murders. They will call DW4 a racist. They want his Money ?? $$$$ He is not facing any jail time, no police reports or charges. Houston dim politics will favor the minority women. This will be tough for DW4, and he is innocent! Money ?? ?? Grab!

To my knowledge there could be reports. If the police are actively investigating DW4, then they will not disclose that information.

I don't see why people aren't stating the obvious

The timing of these allegations are pretty suspect imo. Imo, it's either retaliation from the Texans behind the scenes or just opportunist trying to get money out of a man that they know is about to get paid big money.

Doubtful. They didn't want to destroy his trade value.

Texans could be trying to lower his trade value so he has now place to go. In that case they would keep him like they want to and save $50 million for not trading him. I believe DW4 is innocent but definitely need this to play out. I can't accept at this point he would do something like that. He never showed this throughout his entire career until now. If all evidence proves he is guilty then I have to accept it.

Deshaun has already said he is willing to sit out the season. It would make no sense at this stage to limit their options. They could have gotten 3 or 4 first rounders. for him and they are in a complete rebuild as is. Also, if that ever came out, they would probably never be able to sign a quality free agent for a decade or more. No quality free agent would ever give them a sniff. It would be irrational for them to do it.

the league for a late round draft choice and a broke down running back? Nah, the Texans would never do something irrational.

This always falls on deaf ears, but they traded Hopkins because they could not afford the new contract he was asking for along with the new contract for Watson. They’re at the cap limit currently even without Hopkins.
The reason they got so little for him is because any team with a QB signed to a big contract could not afford him just as Houston couldn’t. The only teams that could were like Arizona with their QB still on a rookie contract. This put Houston in a position where no team was going to offer them much for Hopkins.

And yet, Buffalo traded a first round pick for Stephon Diggs, and still have to pay Josh Allen.
You find a way to keep your best players. Think Deshaun would have adjusted his contract to help fit Nuke in?

Not even similar. They had salary cap issues and just made a poor decision, but not even similarly as stupid or as reckless as this would be.

Yeah. It kind of makes me wonder if this is about putting Deshaun "in his place."
Billionaire owners own football teams as ornaments to their egos. I think it annoyed them their star QB wouldn't even return their calls.
This might well be the response.

How exactly would Houston save $50 million by keeping Watson? If they keep him then they’d have to pay his full salary.
Why would they need to lower his value to keep him from going anywhere? They have him signed for the next 5 years.
The only way they’d get rid of him within the next 5 years is to either trade him or cut him. If they were going to get rid of him then it’s obvious to say they’d want his value to be as high as possible so they’d get back as much in a trade as possible.

Just like the women that accused Justice Cavanaugh that were all lies. Bunch of women wanting there 5 minutes of fame. Isn’t it funny that none of these allegations happened until DW4 wanted out of his contract with the Texans? Don’t buy this for one minute. The first woman said it could go away if he paid her 6 figures. Bunch of BS.

So for all the people saying the Texans are behind this. Are you claiming they found 10-20 women that Watson has never met and had them make all this up?
Watson has said he’s innocent, but had he never met these women or at least received massages from them then I feel it’s pretty obvious he’d say that.
Are you guys saying the Texans faked text messages between Watson and these women as well? I have no idea what those texts say or if any of them prove any wrongdoing, but I imagine some sort of texts do actually exist.
Also, common sense here, but could these women make money off of Watson potentially? Of course they could. Could they make a ton more money than that from the Texans if they came public with information that the Texans asked them to frame Watson of a crime? Of course.

I think they are saying that the Texans brought it out in the open. It's laughable that they think that though.
