then losing to 8.5 point underdog NC State at home the next is great, but it certainly doesn’t mean CBB is comparable to Coach Tommy Bowden. Some of you need to stand down with the unfair comparisons.

although Bowden had a higher winning percentage, he would say things like dadgummit, while Brad made all of our children cry during the Duke Game.

Both are fine men and I am happy they are associated with Clemson University. The fact they both accomplished great things for our athletic department only enhances the pride I feel when I hear either of their names.

That’s nothing like beating a top 10 Miami team in Miami one week and then losing to Duke the next. I’m glad those days are over for Clemson athletics.

maybe comparing the long-term performance of any average basketball coach to the long-term performance of any average football coach, in any context, under any circumstance, at any time, for any reason, regardless of motive or implied bias ... is just taking things way too far.

It seems a very good comparison. Brad has always had problems finishing his business and winning the winnable games. One thing I always liked about R Barnes he was going to win the ones he was supposed to win. Regardless of how this year finishes we need new blood for MBB.
