them the last thing you want to do is whip out a laptop. Nope. I take hand-written notes as do most attorneys, even though I'm not one. I will sit down with an attorney and his/her client and the attorney and I will both take notes, by hand. My reports are always typed though.
But one page per statement of written notes. 50 statements a month, plus other stuff. I probably hand write 70 or so pages a month.

If by pen you mean penus and by ink you mean ##### at least several times in high school.

I remember in college having a callus on my finger from writing so much.
I bet now I don't hand write a paragraph of anything in a month.

I can't even remember the last time I wrote a complete sentence. The extent of my writing is occasionally writing down a number or date on a scrap piece of paper while on the phone.
