He got some bad advice. I wish him well, but my opinion is that he is making a massive mistake that could possibly cost him millions of dollars. Either way big thanks to him for his production and sportsmanship this year helping rebuild our broken clubhouse.

If dude can hit here he can hit at Florida, and they are paying him a lot to do it. And he'll be drafted high if hits, regardless of where he does it at. You shouldn't feel bad for him. You should feel bad for the players still at Clemson that he bails on. You should feel mad that NIL has turned college sports into professional sports with free agency and contracts, and the devaluation of an education.

Schools do not pay players. Amick will be successful wherever he winds up because first, he is a fine young man and second he can play ball. MLB will find players wherever they are just like the NFL and the NBA.
