I can't really describe it. Maybe it's the little brother syndrome similar to Suckolina. Maybe it's that retarded Wolf-Pack cheer. The Wolfpack hand sign is about as annoying as it comes. Philip Rivers perhaps. I think its a combination of all the above, but I have a special hatred reserved for NC State.
It's Tuesday and I can't wait to see one of those jackslaps on Saturday. I'm bringing my Chapel Hill graduate roommate to his first Clemson game. He hates State more than I do. So if you hear two grown men in TDO acting like fools, it's probably us.

After spending 75% of my life in Raleigh, I cannot stand State. They never accomplish anything but their fans talk like they are Bama. I can't wait to beat them by 2 TD's on Saturday.

I live in the Raleigh area and get sick of the Pack.
You are right about the fans. They are some of the most irrational fans out there. I can't tell you how many times I've heard trash talk about Clemson. They are ready to fire O'Brien, yet talk like Dabo is an idiot and can't coach. They talk about how Clemson is not that good, but they beat us like what, twice in the past 10 years??? Granted, not all the fans are like this, but the one's that are sure like to run their mouth.
Dabo may say this game is not about revenge, but in my mind, I hope they do feel this way. I want them to hit the Pack under the chin hard and early. I'll be at the game expecting it!

You would think that they never won a game before. My girlfriend and I walked around to visit some friends before the game and was booed, had beer cans thrown at us, and even had a guy walk behind us for 5 minutes until I turned around and offered to fight him and then he ran away. She grew up an NC State fan and now she is a Clemson Tiger

that is exactly what we had after the game..some pack fan walking behind us back toward where were parked..just jawing..my wife had a few choice things to say to him.. he then left...

If it was a group of guys it would be slightly more acceptable but to behave like that in front of women was disgraceful. If any one of those beer cans had hit us, I would have spent the night in jail

My wife grew up a State fan and doesn't like them anymore either. I think her going with me to some Clemson/State games showed her how classless many of the fans are. It is amazing the stuff you see and hear there.
When I was a student, I made the trek to Raleigh for two games. I remember one trip some Tiger fans had their windows busted out of their car and another had their tires deflated in the visitor's lot. The second trip, after a game we had just won, I had one little man berating me for no other reason than to impress the girls he was with. Like you, I offered to fight him and he shut his mouth and ran off. Now that I am older and wiser, I guess I would probably just laugh it off and walk away (oh, how times change).
For some reason, we decided not to go to last year's game and I have to say, I am glad that we didn't. Ready for the payback this year.

i agree with you about NC State...part of it that made me not like them was my wife and I went to a clemson game at carter finley stadium..It happened to be on the same weekend as the NC State Fair, so we had to park out on hwy 70 and walk to the stadium missing the entire 1st quarter.....we lost the game also and talk about some of the rudest people to deal with...you would have thought they won the national championship the way they were yelling insults...It is time for a beat down in the valley... GO TIGERS.........

Probably 75% of the cars you passed were people at the fair. But you are dead right about the fans being some of the most classless I have come across.

For some reason they think they are a great football program and do that stupid wolf howl and ghey hand jesture. I was thankful we pounded them every year we worked together. And don't ever mention basketball around a state fan.
They are the coots of the ACC for sure!

I live in Raleigh and work with almost all State grads. They are unbearable. The are exactly like SCar fans. Sore losers and sore winners.
In the office, the Florida grad, the Syracuse grad and I all hang out together and play golf on Thursdays.
