Since the 2005-2008 years when the Pro-regime and the Anti-regime factions battled it out. This off-season will definitely be the most critical for Clemson since those exhausting years. I hope Dabo sees it.

Clemson fans are no different than any other fans. If the tigers win they think the coaches are smart. If we lose they think they know more than the coaches. It has always been that way. Nothing new here. Same for all the other programs in the country. Have you ever listened to Finebaum when Alabama loses a game. Hate and poison spews like you would not believe.

Teams that compete for national championships generally have great coaches. Teams that go .500 in the ACC generally have bad coaches. I don't know why anybody thinks these are controversial statements.

That it compares to late era Bowden should tell you just how incredibly stupid the “anti-Dabo” voices are right now. Especially after a large majority of the them were throwing out “no one wants to fire Dabo” anytime they got called on their ######## just a couple weeks ago. There are an awful lot of coots who have had nothing better to do who’ve been slow trolling this board for years and been given way too long a leash.

There aren't really any "anti-Dabo" voices. There seem to be two kinds of people:
1. People who kiss Dabo's rear end no matter what and think he's almost the second coming of Jesus. These are the cult members.
2. People who also like Dabo but recognize that he is hurting himself and Clemson with stubbornness and arrogance, particularly regarding portal usage and staff hires. These people just want Dabo to correct his mistakes. They don't want him fired unless he refuses to correct his mistakes.
Nobody hates the guy. We all love him for what he did for Clemson in the 2010s, and rightly so. But clearly the 2020s are not going well and he needs to make some corrections. That's all we "Dabo critics" want.

So, in the last 30 minutes or so we’ve established that you do “gaslight”, you don’t know what it means though, you didn’t know judgement and judgment were both acceptable, and it doesn’t occur to you to fact-check even the simplest assertions that you make (Dunning-Kruger). That's not what "gaslighting" is. It's a reference to an old movie (two, actually) and a particular type of psychological abuse that has no connection to people arguing on a message board about a football coach.
