What kind of O do they run? Good players?

They're pretty good for a MAC team

They have a good balanced attack. They threw for over 250 yds, and had a 200 yd rusher against E. Mich last week. They have only beaten one BCS team in their history, and that was Indiana. They are 6th in the nation in rushing after week one. We are 9th in the nation in rushing. They will be fired up and whether the storm for a while but we have way too many athletes.

Prediction: Clemson 47 Ball ST. 24

They run a no huddle, 4 wide receiver, sometimes 3 wide receiver and one tight end, spread style offense. They have a 225lb running back that is a beast. I believe his name is Jahwan Edwards and he played at Matthews NC two years ago. Their passing game is fair but it sets you up for the run. Short throws and runs are pretty much what they do.

Your right.Ball State is not very sexy.And neither are their cheerleaders.
But their football team had 596 yards of total offense in a 37-26 win over EMU.They also had a 200 yard rushing effort from Jahwan Edwards.
So they are capable of putting up some #'s against a team that overlooks them.
I don't think Clemson will overlook Ball State.But one only needs to remember that Troy lead 16-13 at half in Clemsons Home opener last season to know you can't over look Ball State,Savannah State,or any school with State in it's name.

A few years ago they had a great team that was almost undefeated when Brady Hoke was there. He is now HC at Mich but he coached and played at Ball. They are a strong MAC team that runs a spread. We better be ready especially our D and secondary. They will give us a tussle.

have a 3 year starter at QB, good RB's and a big veteran OL. They'll make some plays against us. Defensively, they won't stop us. should be a good test for our D, especially the back ups who should get a lot of time. Not a true cupcake, but we'll win handily. 59-24. I want to see a better pass rush and our DB's play better
