Mark Few makes over $3 million a year. Brad makes $2.6 million a year.

The additional $400K is a performance bonus for ensuring only 5-players are on the court at any one time.

Few's is 1.8 base with actual earning of over 3 million.

That being said, PRIVATE school contracts can become very weird. So it isn't apples and oranges with any public school. Just look at Mike Brey at ND. The school does not pay him a lot directly (only 2.something million) but their semi-associated media company (play by play) has him on the payroll.Not sure what Few's other deals are but I would expect something similar.

Any coach in any sport, taking over a team, when it's winnings are bad or mediocre, should be gone in 5 years, if he shows no continual upward trend in winning. Our basketball program has been devalued, since the era of Bill Foster, and the decision dudes at the top are to blame. Expect wall jello, until a change is made, and we get serious about our basketball program.
