But the cult-like following and refusal to accept anyone “calling him out” or trash talking him is downright strange.
You know it’s ok to support him and still call it like it is, right?
I have to give you props though. The ones I’m talking about would fall on a sword for him I think.

I didn't realize Wofford was 0-8. wonder who will win when yhey play my masters degree Alma mater The Citadel. Both of those programs have gone down.

Dabo is the best coach in Clemson history. Not sure who could possibly deny this. Clemson was mediocre, at best, before him and was the butt end of many a joke.
To become a better person, you need to be able to listen and hear criticism. However, you also need to be able to listen and navigate through rational, well reasoned, intelligent criticism and idiots shooting their mouth off. The man brought national recognition, championships and pride to this program. He deserves a chance to right the ship.
Lets face it; Dabo has a target on his chest. He is an outspoken Christian. That is something that the media MUST tear down. He took this program to the "top of the mountain". HE made it so that we EXPECT to win every year. HE made your expectations so high, that NOTHING but playoff bound would suffice. Now that Dabo has shown that hes human, lets all pile on the " Down with Dabo" train.
Dabo does need to explain what hes going to get better. He should be able to listen to critcism, as long as its intelligent. There are enough detractors that fir weather fans are going to jump ship. Dont forget, we can always go back to the Tommy West years, or even the Tommy Bowden years.

It has nothing to do with making the offense suck. It is a target that multiple outlets will jump on, just to get him ousted. The comment wasnt meant to explain the offensive deficiencies, it was meant to explain some.of the whining going on. It is a detractor, when he, and the staff, need to be focused on ND.

My exact thoughts.
Folks act like Dabo should just be okay with being disrespected.
Dabo didn't punch the dude -- he gave him a verbal beating and the dude deserved it.
Definite difference between a respectful opinion brought up and acting like a punk. Context matters. If the dude was respectful and Dabo went off that's one thing...this ain't it though, y'all.
Folks who wanna support the punk can find another fanbase down the road to support.

Questions are fine. But starting it and treating Dabo that way is just plain disrespectful. Question of what he is planning or something like that. But to start with pay and not getting moneys worth - no. Just no.
