Duke is by far the best team in the ACC but are not unbeatable especially on the road. Look at their loss at Ohio State.
If we can do a decent job on the boards and hit a lot of 3s we can win the game. Dawes and Honor are due for big games. Duke is not a great 3 pt shooting team so the defense inside- out needs to be strong.
Clemson fans going to the bowl game, make sure to give your tickets to other Clemson fans, not Duke fans.

I suspect Littlejohn would not be the one road coliseum that Duke would request to be played while the students are away. Clemson hasn’t been known as a hostile, rowdy environment in quite a few years unfortunately.

I hope there will be some effort made to get Clemson people there to watch and give a home atmosphere for Duke to contend with. Epic league favoritism for Duke on this scheduling. Infuriating. We need to beat Duke for this alone

Dawes and/or Honor are way overdue. Still, as I'd stated for last night's game. Patience will be key. We fall back into the perimeter toss gameplan and then have honor or Dawes heave a 3 off balance we'll lose. Dawes especially last night fell back into that bad habit a few times but we got fortunate uva couldn't mount a run.
Hall, Tyson, Naz, and the few minutes chief was in passed the ball inside out and were crisp, patient and took some good shots. Good anticipation.
Hall got blocked a couple times last night when he didn't need to. Nothing wrong going strong to the hoop but use his body more to shield the defender. If he'd pulled back those couple times... Just a half step, he probably doesn't get blocked.
Va Tech had em on the ropes last night. Let's do it.

if they can make some 3s - and keep their shots within the offense - the Tigers have a great chance
but if they take too many quick shots with nobody to rebound, it could get ugly
looking forward to seeing Hall and Tyson against the dookies

when we've struggled is when we've turned it over, especially late.
Our rebounding had really improved as Collins has hit his stride. Another double-double last night.
Can we run with Dook? They will press the tempo. I actually think we can, if we don't turn it over, as we are a much better offensive team than we have been. How we handle transition on both ends will determine the game

We’re 198th in the NCAA in turnover margin which is why, despite being relatively efficient, we’re 111th in scoring offense. That’s against a weak SOS. Duke is significantly better than anyone we’ve played. We’re capable of winning the game because it’s college basketball. But it is very improbable. And I posted that we should beat Virginia during the first half when folks were predicting a collapse.

Possible. We will need a hot night and go all out on D. Their 2nd road game (we have had 3) Considering we play them again later in the season I want to sneak a win and littlejohn is best.
But dang, Banchero/Moore are going to be tough. I but we are not completely at a loss there with Hall and Tyson (defensively) countering. So at least we don't have a complete mismatch there. Thankfully, if our guard trio has a hot night, Anyone, if hot, can take it to Keels/Roach IMO. Collin Thus, ironically, it will be maybe the guard play - we are a bit deeper but their Forwards can play point as well. I wonder if Duke goes big against us.
FYI - if you are wondering about why UVA is weak - they lost their home recruiting battle. Roach and Williams are from Virginia. Even Banchero was poached from Bennetts old grounds.

we got the talent. We got multiple guys who are very good at putting the ball in the basket, fundamental to scoring more points than the other team.
Early, we had issues "finishing". We had a problem of lolly-gagging and dilly-dallying, nay playing "not to lose" vs playing to win ... its an esoteric thing where you tighten up at the end scared you will make a mistake. Key is to play like you have been playing that made you have the good lead. Of course, if you got a good lead towards the end of the game you want to take your time taking a shot, and look for a GOOD shot. After all its a math/time thing
