And rightfully so....is the fact that we, as Tiger fans, aren't allowed access to Death Valley like that when they seemingly roll out the red carpet for a D2 school that just embarrassed our baseball program. I'd love to be able to run down The Hill with my son on a visit to Clemson... but actual fans aren't offered that same experience. Go Tigers!

*I know UCF isn't actually D2...

this weekend is probably going to be the highlight of their lives.

Let them enjoy it.

Think of it this way -
Their coach comes in and says to EB, "bet we sweep you guys this weekend"
EB says "ha ha oh yeah, I'll take that bet, what do you want?"
"I want my guys to run down the hill"
"It's a bet"

You wouldn't want EB to be a welcher like T-Balm now would you?


BTW back in the good old days, they never locked the gates. In the spring we played frisbee on the field and I vaguely remember rolling down the hill at 2 am one Friday night and laying there for a while hoping I would be able to get back up.

In the 80’s you could run down the hill and take pictures, just not with your phone because the spring cord wasn’t long enough.

The first problem with your post is that you assumed we would win the baseball games. What do you see in our history the past 10-12 years that makes you believe that? UCF lost in the Championship game of the AAC Tournament last year so they are not a bigger program that we are. The second thing is do we actually know who opened the gate?

Problem moving forward is every team, in every sport is going to try to create a similar video. Fans of opposing teams as well.

Honestly I feel like this was a compliment to the iconic tradition that Clemson brings to the college sports world.

This is how their BASEBALL team wanted to celebrate? by simply running down the hill in Death Valley? It's not like we let Cooter's stank legs run down it after we gave them the home streak.
