Anyone think the travel schedule hurt the team...?

Coach Brownell mentioned this in presser yesterday. Have a game late Sunday in Memphis, then getting back at Clemson around 2am Monday morning, then staying 12 hours then have to fly to LA with jetlag and just having Tuesday and Wednesday to get ready. Could have dragging legs tonight?

I was told one time that going east to west in the US doesn't create jetlag.

Jetlag comes from flying west to east. You arrive home at bedtime but can't go to sleep on time because you're on your west coast rhythm, don't get much sleep. Then, have to get up the next day at your normal time.

Dude jetlag happens anytime you shift timezones. I flew to Japan and had jetlag. You might sleep the first night but the next night you are off.

Be careful - 7pm is a long ways away for you to already be hitting the sauce so early and obviously so hard.

You mean the only coach in Clemson history able to reach multiple Sweet 16s? Monkey tears are the sweetest!

Going west is very easy to adjust to. Coming back east is the issue.***

Why not just fly to LA from Memphis? Back to Clemson for 12 hrs seems like a lot of extra time for extra tall guys on a plane.

My thoughts exactly. I think it’s pretty cheap that they just didn’t take a flight to LA from Memphis. Get out there, get acclimated provide yourself the best opportunity to be 100% come game time
Kids can do school online and whatever supplies need to be sent out there could easily be transported. Seems silly for such a quick turnaround.

possibly, but glad they flew out Tuesday, so they have an extra day to get acclimated. Should be good to go.

That’s why that extra time off you were worried about between the ACCT and the NCAA T was a good thing.
