Watson= Greatness

I know, still early. But all signs point to this young man being 1 of the ALL time best. I can see all Clemson records and ACC records going down quickly. ------------- On another note, what happen to the DEFENSE Sat. night? Geez..after the 1st quarter, they just didn't look good at all.
what did Venables say? #21

no but he might've passed that first drive pass better to the TE for a touchdown that Stoudt under threw....it was a walk-in TD...no one around just poor pass that ended in a missed FG

Fsu would have had to prepare with a total different scheme if Watson was the starter from day one. There defense would had to prepare to face many more different type of plays. This would cause the defensive players to think more and prepare for much more from a defensive scheme standpoint, which creates opportunities for many more breakdowns and mistakes. Some offensive plays gave them an advantage when their's no dual threat, over the top, or lazier passes flying all over the field. There Lbs knew they had it easier when there were no dual threat at the qb position, or no major runningbacks threats. D. Watson would have been settled in from two full games, and the coaches would have had two weeks to produce a much bigger offensive game plan. Even threw in a few wrinkle or suprise plays.

Agreed. If Watson had been the starter day 1 I think FSU without Winston would have been a different story. BUT....... we'll never know. Let's just hope they let him go now. No more of this "Stoudt deserves to play some because he served time. There is no comparison between the two and for the coaches to say that is a crock!!!

Underthrew to one of our receivers when he could have walked into the endzone with it.
