They actually didn't. If Jordan Travis didn't get hurt, Florida St. would have made it.

But would they? Jordan Travis being out was just an easy out for the committee.

What happens if Milroe tears an ACL in practice? The argument that FSU was held out bc Travis can't play so FSU shouldn't be in the playoff. I get it, it is different if Milroe gets hurt preparing during the month, but isn't that what players are technically doing during the season?

All we know for sure is that records and conference championships are NOT enough.

Teams in the top 4-6 starting next year will sit players in their conf champ game.
