did he play high school football for Wren HS? Or am I wrong about him playing there?

He transferred to play in a spread his last two years of hs to get more exposure

Before that he played in an option offense

don't believe he ever actually PLAYED at CF. that high school closed (later reopened) and he played at least 1, i think 2, years at Abbeville. They run a version of the wishbone they call the "A bone" and kelly was a sack of hell in it. but he transferred to Wren for a chance to throw the ball more. no clue why wren was the choice.
