IF, saying If..if UGA wins a 3rd straight Natty

would they be the 1st to win three straight?
And, it would be surreal if they did it and went 15-0 which would be a record of all records since their last two straight natties broke a record for two consecutive seasons of 15 & 0!
Dawg fans have flags flying on cars & trucks and boat docks; Why not!
Hey, if my beloved Tigers continue to sux I may join them incognito since my CU Son graduated there with a JD in Law which is like a Masters & PHD combination.
LOL!

They lost to Alabama in the SEC championship two years ago. They went 14-1 and then 15-0

And that was a 1st too I believe.
The 1st team that LOST their Conference Championship but went on to compete for and win the National Championship

Whoever wins the NC this year will very likely be a "unanimous" champion, as in not shared or co-champions. Both of UGA's National Championships were unanimous, and not shared with any other team. No team has ever won three straight unanimous National Champinships, so if it were to happen, UGA would be the first. All three of Minnesota's Championships were shared: they split with Alabama in 1934, and there were four teams who shared the title in both 1935 and 1936. The last team to win two straight unanimous NCs was Yale in 1891-92, over 130 years ago before many teams even started playing football.

Yes, Florida - a team we have currently and historically dominated - came close with 2 out of 3 a while back. As well as a number of other teams from bygone years and eras. Just thinking about it makes one realize how superlative this current run is. Thanks for the reminder!

I said nothing about Clemson and nothing about UGA for you to make a complete assbag response. I merely made an observation that got you all in your redneck feelings, but I guess when it's your whole personality this is what you get.

Always with the namecalling. I guess I touched a nerve? Oh well. Maybe just stick to the OP instead of trying to bring Florida into it???? Whatever.

You wet yourself with your defensiveness over absolutely nothing and are "attempting" to project it as usual.
Name calling? Are you gonna tell the mods?? 😂 😘

Your current run is superlative and I expect UGA to win it again this season.
However, let’s talk UF v UGA series
54-44-2 is hardly dominant. Looks like up to 1950 you dominated but over the past 70 years looks pretty #### even. Heck, Florida may have an edge.
I grew up in Florida as a Gator - hating FSU and UGA equally. However, over time I had grown to respect the UGA program - even attending Sanford Stadium and pulling for UGA on occasion.
However, your dumb statement about “historical” domination over the currently sucky Gators - well, it shows ignorance.
And as such I hate UGA once again.

We've won 5 of the last 6, and 8 of the last 12. According to the article you linked, we lead the overall series 55-44-2 (not 54-44-2). Yes, they were dominant under Spurrier and Meyer, but those days are well in the rear view mirror. Whatever.

if you count every bird cage liner that had a poll. UGA tries to claim 1942 when Ohio State was the AP #1 because some other paper or organization said they were #1.

You've been a stalwart on TigerNet for awhile sharing interesting stories Clemson related and otherwise, but occasionally you post stuff for clicks or giggles or w/e like the obsession with Joe Burrow and now UGA.

He even TU'd the Dawg troll in this thread getting defensive over FU owning them at one time, which is why I sparingly award him anymore. It gets old and tired.

(that's always amusing that UGA has a reputable law school) so I'll give him that. But for a Clemson fan that very frequently shares good stories, often long, about his Clemson experiences and other stuff he does or has done, his obsession with UGA is puzzling and , like you said, maybe a little trollish.

I've seen it when we have lost to other teams. Maybe it's how he copes. LSU was unbearable. I would be proud of my child for completing any law school, but speaking as a Clemson fan, I find it in poor taste to use it as a way to troll my alma mater.
