If Tavien is anywhere close to CJ...good heavens...

So...Tavien Feaster is 20 pounds heavier than CJ was as a freshman, but similar in speed/quickness. Let that sink in for a second. This offense is already stacked. STACKED.
I can't fathom what a CJ-esqe addition will look like. The only way Auburn has a shot is 1) turnovers, 2) injuries, 3)...that's it. If we take care of the ball and DW stays on his feet, it won't be close. I'm not talking trash, that's just reality. Auburn cannot replicate what we are about to see in 4 weeks. It's gonna be nasty.

I never imagined a Clemson team with this much talent! Absolute arsenal of weapons, esp on the offensive side of the ball.
If we can equal last seasons productivity on defense...it will be another special year.
Great time to be a Tiger!!

Agreed. We always seem to 1-2 special players not 6-7.

I always wondered what Charlie Whitehurst coulda done with talent around him, or if CJ had a good QB.

Don't overlook the fact that he needs to be able to block for DW4. I don't think Gallman got really good at doing that until last year. It's part of the deal. Also, no FUMBLING. I still remember Mike Bellamy, and how fast he was. I want to see Tavien grow into the position. I don't expect him to blast onto the scene like Bellamy did (first touch was a TD I think - and the dagger TD to the heart of Beamer at Va Tech). Dang I miss Bellamy. I hated that he couldn't do well in all the facets needed at that position.

Not sure how he afforded it and I really don't wanna know. But that kinda thing is just kinda fishy. Plus, he always parked it in the horseshoe on campus all day and night and never got a ticket.

Feaster vs Spiller
Aug 6, 2016, 5:18 PM

Feaster comes in to a lot more talented team than CJ did in 06. Spiller knew he would be the man, sooner rather than later.....although. We did have James Davis.

Don't forget we had to wait two seasons for Spiller to learn to stop dancing. He was dangerous from day one, but not reliable until his third season.

Some of the dancing was due to the fact that he didn't have an O-line like we do now! If the hole wasn't perfect his first two years he would get happy feet and try to make something hapen using his athleticism. Which he often succeeded at! Once he settled down he didn't need much daylight he just blew by people! If TF is anywhere close to CJ in ability he is going to be amazing!
