Transfer portal

How many Tigers do you see entering the portal? I see a couple right off but topping my list would be Mafah as he sees what most see.... fumbles in the red zone where he is at his best. Wonder why he is not in there and why we refuse to get under center on the goal line and push it across?

My speculation is it will be larger than prior years. There’s atleast 2 starters I could see taking a serious look at finishing their eligibility elsewhere.

If we went under center the QB would get pushed back on his but with the Oline line giving up 1-3 yards at the snap. Heck, the RB’s would be fighting the opposing DLine for the handoff. I guess lining up the QB and RB 5 yards back at least gives them a running start from the pressure. Our Oline is soft as warm butter…

Capehart and or Page - Hoping neither, like them both but there's a lot of talent on DL

Jahiem Lawson - Curious one here. Not a lot of depth at DE. Just putting him on the list because not sure he will ever contribute and he may decide to go elsewhere

Zaire Patterson - Essentially was told this was the year to put up or shut up according to Dabo in pre season

At least 1 OL

Maybe 1 DB/S

Hoping we keep both Page and Capehart, given how we rotate interior lineman, as long as both are on the 2-deep, they should get at least 23-30 snaps per game. My guess for our interior DL 2-deep would be Woods, Page, Capehart and Burley. That is some serious talent.
