What other options does Gameday have than Clemson

I was looking at the schedule and unless something changes their other options are:
No. 11 UCLA at No. 5 Stanford
No. 17 Florida at No. 25 Missouri

Both the producer of Game Day and Herbstreit have previously said that Game Day would be at Clemson as long as both Clemson and Florida State were undefeated. Herbstreit said that they have gone to campuses twice during a season before. Go Tigers!

Not so much about Clemson or being there earlier in the season etc
This is about the best game that weekend. Hands down no other top 10 matchup in the country
Gameday goes for the best game of the week, interesting matchup, best storyline, etc it is nice to see Clemson being part of that, more wins equals more opportunity for big games, more publicity, etc
Also comes with a no excuses about no respect. ESPN likes the SEC better, etc when #3 in the country, 2 Gameday visits in the same season (rarely if ever done)
Time to enjoy wearing the big boy pants, others across the country are respecting Clemson, time for the fans to quit whining and enjoy the ride

So scratch their #25 ranking. I'd expect it to be our game. It would be, assuming things play out, #3 vs. #6. Stanford plays at Utah on 10/12, so I don't expect em to lose. But the Oregon vs. Stanford game is a Thursday this year. If Stanford were to get a Gameday I'd assume it may be when Notre Shame comes to town.

how is Stanford Oregon a thurs game??
shouldn't ECU be playing Tulsa on Thurs night....not used to seeing top 10 matchups on thurs night has to be a 1st

It's a no brainer as long as we win Saturday!!! This will be the biggest conference game we've ever had in the Valley!

and maybe the biggest in the ACC ever. we met a highly ranked UNC team in 1981 in what was the highest ranked ACC football pairing up till then. I suspect both of us are ranked even higher this year

LSU at Ole Miss, Florida at Missouri, Washington at Arizonma State and Southern Cal at Notre Dame are some other, albeit unlikely, options.
