I would have fired Brownell after the home first round NIT loss to Oakland, Michigan. I would have fired Brownell after he got off the flight back from Louisville.

GN will likely wait until the season is over before making any announcements. I would have fired him years ago. He is a sub-mediocre recruiter and coach.

The difference is we could and I emphasize Could, still finish in the top 3 in the conference after being picked 11th coming in. The bottom line is this team has over performed.

Read what you just posted. We were "picked 11th" preseason. That shows you what confidence the people around Brad Brownell have in him! in his 13th season he was picked to finish 11th, that is just pathetic. Finishing ranked higher when you were expected to be terrible there's nothing to get excited about. He's a mediocre coach and will never be anything more.

So Clemson “over performing” is the only possibility. We should not consider that the ACC being the worst in history means some teams “underperformed”? We’re also 2 losses away from being 9th in the conference. Is that really “over performing”. Do you think the ACC media writers actually sat down and rank the teams based on their schedules and where they’ll actually finish, or are they just ranking the teams.

Brownell has very little support from the fan base and the overall give a crap level of basketball by the avg Clemson fan is nearly non-existent.

Youu have to wait until the season is over bc we could still actually win the conference and make the !NCAAT.. hard to see it actually happening but it's possible.

All of the players seem to like him too, so u don't gain anything by firing him now. Not like we will get a "jump" on the coaching search. I doubt guys are knocking over there living room tables to get to Littlejohn. It can be built here but this isn't some job u take as a life goal.
