If you fix just one thing with our tigers, what would it be?

My answer would be we need team leaders. I don’t see or feel the leadership from players like we have in past teams.
We can talk all we want about coaches, play calls…etc…but does this team have the heart of other Clemson teams. Do we have the leaders to pick the team up? We just look flat!

With the exception of Riley, Eason, and Goodwin (give him one more year), Dabo should go scorched earth and fire every #### body.
Pink slips for everybody!

I disagree. I think we should continue to tarnish the Clemson brand on a national stage, decimate our recruiting and raise IPTAY fees on the obviously ungrateful fan base mostly so we can get the backyard BBQ coaching squad some raises. LOL

Mike reed is the BEST coach on this team. He’s been here since 2012 or so and he consistently develops his players. Examples= Nate Wiggins, Ryan carter, Mario Goodrich, sherdian jones, cordrea tankersley and many many more. The listed above were not plug and play players. He CONSISTENTLY develops his dudes. I think the issue was hiring inexperienced former players to coach.

Any success on offense last Saturday night in the second half, maybe the defense wouldn't have been so gassed that they got run over by Miami on that long drive.

O-Line and it’s really not even a question. They are so #### bad. Like maybe the worst one I personally ever remember watching.

Well out of 130 teams, we’re ranked 126th in red zone offense and 99th in turnovers lost. I guess we could flip a coin between those two?

I think that at this point in the season the likelihood of playing for the ACC championship is out the window. I doubt it would ever happen, but I’d love to see Dabo admit this team is a disaster and start planning for the future. What would that look like? If we have freshman sitting on the bench that they believe have bright futures, they should be playing a lot. Throw them out there and find out who has some dog in them, and who needs to be encouraged to hit the portal. Let’s get the players we will rely on next season some real experience. If that hurts a few feelings among the upper-classmen so be it. Use the rest of this season to build our program going forward. It doesn’t necessarily mean we are in tank mode. You play to win the game. But simply getting more snaps to the younger players where you wouldn’t necessarily do that if you’re undefeated or fighting for a title would go a long way IMO.

I agree. All of these one fix plans are not on point. There seems to be something much more systemic going on - that is causing a lot of other surface problems.
There is some kind of disconnect. For the last 10 or 12 years there has been a belief in each other - that when the chips were down - when adversity raised its ugly heads (as it often does) - that someone would make a play or a brilliant call - and turn the tide. That was the end of Clemsoning.
Right now I don't see the players deep-down believing in themselves - or each other - or their coaches. Perhaps it is player leadership that helps bridge that gap (or keeps the gap from opening in the first place). Perhaps it is transmitted through the coaching staff (could this be a DJU hangover?).
Whatever it is, it seems to be missing from this football team. And until it is rediscovered, I don't see much of a future for this ball club.
Y'all tell me right now - who is the leader of this offense ? Who is the leader of this defense ? I think the answers right now are more obscure than they have been in the last 20 years.

Lots of votes for the O-line. I would like to see an actual grade comparison of O-lines over the last ten years.

Beyond that, Id like to see a completely new offensive philosophy. What we do now doesnt work and hasnt for years now.
