Is Demarcus Bowman still at Florida?

I can't help but wonder what could have been had he stayed!
Would Pace, Mafah, Shipley have come? Maybe one or two of them; but not all. Would have been awfully crowded.

I think he left Florida and wasn't there long either. It's for the best he didn't stick around here. We have 3 all around good backs now because of it.

Would’ve loved to see him stick it out at Clemson. Kid had a lot of talent.

The kid can’t get on the field at UCF. This is an example of our recent recruiting of some four and five stars that just were it as good as their star ranking said.

I think he is as talented as his ranking. He doesn't perform due to other issues.

Pretty sure he had to sit out this year at UCF because it was his second transfer and it was past the deadline.

considered a flop based on high school potential, it would have to be him. It just goes to show, stats can't measure the will to compete, or face a little adversity. I hope he gets it together and makes something of himself. I would bet his family was already counting the NFL money when he came out of high school.

In the last 16 years, we are exactly hitting at 33% with five star running backs from Florida.
CJ Spiller arrived and was a five-star talent right off the bat and a program changing recruit.
Mike Bellamy had a lot of talent but he had ball security issues and overall maturity issues and was not ready for college football and he left. He never resurfaced in a big time program.
Demarcus Bowman arrived on campus and simply was not very competitive. He returned to his home state, and he was not very competitive at the University of Florida either and now he is not competitive at UCF.
Both Bellamy and Bowman were the real deal at high school football in Florida. Hard to predict how unsuccessful they would be in college. People in the Port Charlotte area swore by Mike Bellamy. Tough competitor and played both ways when they needed him to in the playoffs. Bowman was also a TrackStar.
Of note is that both the University of Florida and Florida State have suffered the same curse. Believe it or not over the past decade, FSU and UF have gotten many of the recruits that they wanted in the state of Florida. It’s just that many of the recruits they wanted turned out not to be that good in college football.

Hard to say out about bellamy though since he couldnt keep his grades up. He couldve turned out pretty good.

Didn't he play at 185-190 in high school?
UCF has his current weight at 193lbs. Wow, that's light. He's only like 5lbs heavier than his high school playing weight. Is he sick or something? He reminds me of Mike Bellamy, tons of talent but lacking the right ingredients.
One way or the other, the weight room is usually an indicator of commitment level.
