Coots hate it, but they aren't the brightest bulb anyway. Like it of not Dabo is on the radar screen of any team that wants to win, follow the rules and have their athletes be good ball players and mature to be good men. That is the part coots hate most.

ummmm, what the "coots would hate" would be if Swinney ever left clem5on.
Don't know if you have noticed or not, but "the coots" own his ###.

ed is trying to help dabo get a raise. that is not a state or coot writer, but a tiger writer. it may be true but imo Kirby smart is who bama hires if saban leaves but I don't think he will. as far as texas, I think mack brown will work out a settlement agreement and retire or will make them fire him. as far as a replacement, I cant see them hiring or offering dabo that job. I think the big oil donors want a big splash and will throw a lot of money at malzan, briles,or maybe myers. dabo is still a bit young in his hc experience for a job that big.

So was Mack Brown when he got there, and don't forget, they had promised the job to Muschamp, but he bolted for a quicker chance at a HC job (which he isn't setting the world on fire at, by the way). Not saying Dabo would get the job, but they could do a lot worse. It will be interesting to see how much they pay the new guy and who the new guy will be.

Tell a newspaper writer what the talking points are, he

will produce a piece proving the points. If Clemson's potential success is the subject, Dabo is a simpleton. If Clemson potentially losing a coach is the subject, he is a genius.

The potential to take two very fine coordinators with him will keep Dabo on the short list until the end.

Either Venables or Morris would be strong HC candidates

should Dabo move on. And Radakovich might push that matter in order to keep one or both.
But it feels more likely that one of the coordinators goes before Dabo.

at a D1 school. No insult intended because I think he know there's more to handling a program than handling an offense.
It takes 7 years to learn a craft. That doesn't mean you have to be a carpenter for 7 years before you can build a 1200sf rancher. If you're going on your own with less experience than you need your destined to pay for the rest of your training out of your own pocket.
If there's a craftsman on this bored they'll tell you all about it.

They don't want Dabo to stay at Clemson, even though...

Dabo has lost to SCU 5 in a row, they know that is not going to last long. They know in the long run Clemson is set up for continued success, while SCU has peaked and will go back to their 4-7 win seasons once Spurrier either retires or falls off. Only job Dabo would take would be Bama. Dabo would never fit in with the Texas Bluebloods so Texas isn't even a possibility.
