the SEC. It's really that simple. And it will make it harder for schools like Clemson and others around the country to compete until something is done about it. Don't think that it won't.

Re: It Is Really All About Winning

I don't think there is a different set of rules depending on conference affiliation. I do think that the NCAA is inconsistent and "name" programs with tradition tend to be treated with kid gloves a little more than others. But at the end of the day, probation is not that big a deal. For most fans, the media etc it is all about winning. Breaking NCAA rules is akin to speeding. Sure it would have been fun to sit hear and laugh at the chickens getting hammered......same with UNC. We need to step up and beat them on the field, simple as that. You don't get extra points because your coach is a good man or nice guy or wins the "right" way. For the most part nobody cares how many coots or jawja dawgs get arrested today. Grow up, it is all about winning. It is sad when the only thing we can talk about is them being on probation or someone getting arrested. The fact is that right now they are a better football program than we are and we need to change that. Hopefully we will start a new streak of our own come November. Until we beat them, there really is not much we can say. You don't hear anyone in the media bashing Bama because of the number of times they have been on probation do you ? All the talking heads and fans talk about is how #### good they are.

competitive advantage due to (even gamecock fans admit this) different enforcement of rules for members of that conference than the rest of the NCAA members.
