2 wins in historical Chapel Hill during his tenure. No coach at Clemson has never been that consistent on the hardwood up there.
Brownell just might have etched a lifetime contract here at Clemson.

That would look bad on Clemson as it would tell the world that we think the Tarholes are unbeatable and we wet our pants on the rare occasion that we beat them and give a mediocre coach a lifetime contract and millions of dollars for winning two games.
I think I will pass on boarding that train.I am not enamored that much by the Tarholes.

Well, the Tarheels are a great basketball program with a great winning tradition in basketball, but beating them 2 times isn’t worthy of any special recognition. We pay our coach a bunch of money , and he is supposed to put teams on the floor that can win games.

2 of the last 3 in Chapel Hill after going 0-59,now if coach Brownell and the Tigers could just break that other streak,the one where Clemson is 0 for 69 in winning the ACC tournament(not counting 2020 because of covid and tournament finishing)
