Coots found a good QB (portal) and last two games staff decided to go for it and cut him lose.

And boy did that decision work out..

knocking out #5 & # 8 in consecutive weeks!

Yes, the offense went to him after the mizzou loss and really told him it was too complicated and took too long having to look at the sidelines every play just to get the play. He listened and the rest is history.
