Jimbo

Does Jimbo's seat get hot when FSU underachieves again this fall?
Losses to Clemson, VT, Miami, & Gators?
Do these recruits stop drinking the kool aid after another Clemson Championship?
I'm so done with Jimbo.
Spot the dang ball.

I guess he would get rid of his coordinators this year...

and the FSU fans would figure out next year the coordinators weren't the problem.
Looks to me like he is a year ahead of schedule. Yep, this season finishes him off.

FSU at Doak is going to be tough. We had better be very ready. Their D might be the best we see all year.

In watching some of their practice video, it looks like they'll be soft. Not a lot of hitting going on compared to the videos of Clemson's practice.I guess Jimbo is afraid of injures. E.J. said that they lacked focus last year, and I take that to mean entitlement disease. Stats from their cupcake wins is what makes their defense looks so good. Teams with average or better than average offense's scored plenty of points on them.

They just got in shells, not in full pads yet and only part of practice is open to media

How do you figure that Jimbo's seat is hot? Compare what he has done in 2 years to what Dabo has done:
Total winning %: Jimbo: .704 Dabo .604
Conference winning %: Jimbo: .6875 Dabo: .6552
National Rankings: Jimbo: 16 and 23 Dabo: 22 and 24
In head to head matchups, Jimbo against Dabo is 1-1.
They both have a divisional title. Dabo with the extra year and a half has the ACC title ( accomplished in a year when the ACC had no team finish in the final AP poll of Top 20 teams for the first time in 20 years).
While Dabo has recruited well, Jimbo has out recruited him each year. Rival rankings: 2010: FSU.......10 Clemson...19 2011: FSU....... 2 Clemson... 8 2012: FSU....... 6 Clemson...14 2013: FSU.......11 (thus far) Clemson...13 (thus far).

The FSU fans I know are pretty fed up with Jimbo already. They don't like the direction the program is headed under him and most say they would fully support getting a new coach, sooner rather than later preferably. The story that all those stats don't tell is how underachieving they have been almost every year under Jimbo (including his time "in charge" when Bowden was there).

Not Saying it's hot

I'm saying if and when Jimbo doesn't live up to the lofty unwarranted pre-season expectations again for an overrated team with a bunch of prima donna's that finished third in the Atlantic division his seat will likely get hot and FSU might actually hire someone that can Coach.
Not saying it's hot, but if he doesn't win the ACC and go to a BCS bowl game it will be very hot...
I can't wait until we take their sense of entitlement and shove it straight down their throat.
Ov-er-rated, Clap Clap, Clap Clap Clap....

Yes, I know it's terribly difficult to do. They can win all their games except when they play us. Fine by me.

FSU has been hyped for years. The early 2000's are long gone. Clemson is gaining on them with talent level and with stadium renovations and new screens it's just a matter of time. Jimbo knows he will have his hands full with Clemson. FSU will lose to VT and Clemson.

Re: Jimbo - from an FSU perspective

My brother is an FSU grad, lives in Tallahasse and has season tickets. I can assure you Fisher is on a short leash; he might survive one more year without a division title but 2013 is the demarcation line. Fisher knows their fans are done with excuses and he has to win big.... and soon.
I do think FSU will be very good this year IF Manuel is close to as good as most seem to think he can be (I don't think he has a much higher ceiling than he has played) and the OL is serviceable. D will be very good but with no real running threat, I think they are very questionable in scoring enough points to win the big games.
