let's say that Saban did retire. Who do you think bama would hire next?

I think that they'd call Kirby but don't see him being interested in leaving uga any time soon.

Kiffin has gone out of his way to be deferential toward Saban over recent years...

He's poked some fun at him, but always in a good natured way.

And, he's ridiculed some of the other ex-assistants who've taken shots at Saban.

I think he's been setting himself up for the possibility that he could be the guy to take over when Saban's done.

I've gone from thinking Kiffin is a complete @$$hat to thinking he's good for the game. He's really changed since his USC/UT stints.

Dabo would definitely get a call. I don't see him uprooting from Clemson and going to Bama. At this point I don't think money would be enough for him to change homes. But there's no way they don't at least try.

I could see them ending up with a Kalen Deboer. He's a hot name right now that they could get at probably a little over half of Nick or Dabo's salary which would still be a significant raise for him.
