Just for the sake of discussion . . .

When Tajh does leave (this year or next) who wins the QB job? Stoudt or Kelly? Stoudt has done a great job, but I understand that Kelly is really pushing hard.

The fact that he was even close after just a few weeks of summer practice tells me everything I need to know. He didn't even know the playbook at that point and was almost #2.

It's going to be a great battle between him and Kelly for the job.

more game experience and more time in the system.
Regardless of who wins the battle, we should be set at qb.

all, as he will be a senior in HS next year. If comes back next year, then Stoudt will be a Senior and Kelly a 3rd year soph when Watson is a true freshman, so it would be tough for Watson to win the job then.

I can see the Tigers going with a two QB system next year getting Chad Kelly alot of playing time. I think Boyd will get most of the snaps but we will see alot of Kelly so they can get him ready to take over for Boyd. Stoud will never be a starter at Clemson not as long as Chad Kelly and the Watson kid is there. Stoud will be the back up for Kelly and then when Watson signs in 2014 he will back up Kelly and take over after Kelly leaves. I can see Clemson always having a high rated QB ready at all times. Stoud is a good back up but not a starter.

Who here has seen Kelly play?

By all accounts he is a stud. He looked great in the Nike summer camp. He is obviously very talented. Without having seen him play or even prctice at this level, it's impossible to say how all of that will translate at this level. My guess is he will push Stoudt very hard.
