Just watched the game

I had to DVR it thanks to real life commitments and here are my thoughts:

1). I know nothing about football in that I’ve not played or coached it. My thoughts are truly the arm chair QB thoughts.
2). Really proud of Cade finding a million different receivers when his top receivers continue to go out injured.
3). Really proud of Cade for being able to complete passes when the defense knows you have no deep threat options.
3. Really disappointed in Beaux for not stepping up and being a leader and demanding the ball and making a difference downfield.
4. Our offensive line more than held up considering the defense was essentially stacked up.
5). Our RB duo did more than enough to win though I really wish we’d called more designed QB runs.
6). Defense did plenty but made no game-changing plays. Really feel like Wes is a solid coach but don’t love his defense in that it seems bland and players making plays dependent rather than forcing the issue with calls that the offense hasn’t seen.
7. The call in OT to throw was awful but I hope both player (qb) and coach learn to take what you’re given rather than be greedy.
8! Loved seeing our kicker have some confidence and make kicks. Hated that the miss killed us but I have a hard time blaming kickers—I always feel like the offense could’ve taken care of business themselves.
9). Last but not least I’m really proud of the team and I’m excited to see how we finish this season. It will tell us a lot about the character of this squad. Character can’t be bought (Norvell will learn this), but a lack of it can be exposed. I think this team has a ton of character and I am looking forward to seeing it over the rest of the season.

Love all you guys but I love our Tiger players more,

Excellent post. Our boys outplayed the #4 team in the nation in every category. Unfortunately one of those was a turnover.

Agreed. This is the most enjoyable game I have watched in the past two years. Start feeling the excitement of watching games on Saturday again. Cade is definitely improving! OLine is improving too with more functional receivers!
