Just watched the highlights of the Coot game

Didn’t watch the game but watched the highlights and a few takeaways:

1. OL is terrible
2. Their depth (that of a power 5 SEC school) is the only reason they were able to pull away late bs Georgia State.
3. Rattler is by far the most “talented” QB they’ve had in a while.
4. Rattler, while very talented, just lacks the mental a to carry a season, and based on his college career, I don’t have the belief he can even carry them alone to a win, which is a waste of talent. The ball comes out of his hands differently, the talent is obvious.
5. Again the OL is really bad.
6. They look like they have more speed on offense.
7. Not sure 7 will matter due to that OL.


Now time to swap the bees, go Tigers!

The GS defense was on him fast in the highlights, I can’t speak for the rest of the game. And that’s where I saw both his talent and lack of mental strength/consistency due to that. He had some impressive roll outs due to it and the arm talent was undeniable, but on the same token, the same pressure the next highlight, looked exactly the same but was an INT, he had 2 or 3 INTs in the game highlights.

They can't run the ball. They're going to be behind the chains all season long. Rattled will spend more time running for his life than throwing.

Certainly nothing to highlight for the coots. They were trailing 14-12 late in the 3rd quarter.

My observation was their best offense was Rattler running for his life and making people miss. I don’t think he will stay healthy doing that over the course of the season, especially against good defenses.
