Can't quote him exactly, but his point is ESPN has multiplied the number of bowl games to the point that they are pointless. All regional importance of the bowls are gone when a 6-6 team from the east coast is playing in a bowl in the southwest against another 6-6 team.
It's basically a participation trophy for being below average.
