Kyle Richardson

Aug 3, 2022, 9:07 AM

I know Eason and Goodwin have been great adds as coaches, and I think we are going to find out this season that Kyle Richardson is just as valuable if not more valuable (as far as being promoted to Passing Coordinator). It feels like he has a chip on his shoulder for DJ and the entire passing game. I think between him and Streeter this could possibly be one of the best passing seasons if Clemson can stay healthy across the board on offense.

Fingers crossed, I like what he is saying.

I agree with the assessment. He seems to have an edge about him and I believe he will push the envelope for results. I like both Streeter and Elliott but have never seen them with the chip on their shoulder that Kyle seems to possess. CBV bought that intensity to the D and I am hoping Richardson will do the same for the O.

I'll agree with everything, BUT

"this could possibly be one of the best passing seasons if Clemson can stay healthy across the board on offense."

I know he's been chomping at the bit waiting for a coaching

slot to open up for him on staff. I think he'll do great. His hs offenses were lethal, granted it's a different animal at the college level, but I think he'll translate to a winner!

Two of our best friends son's were starting O linemen on his state championship team. They both have told me he has an amazing ability to see on film defenses weakness and game plan for it. Can't wait to see him take over the passing game along with coachng our TE's. Go Tigers

Bingo!!!! We have a winner.

His in game adjustments are what really gets defensive coordinators fits.

People love to say, "well that was High School". Funny thing about that statement is how much the offenses and tactics go in reverse in football. I.E. the spread and speed option and now Air Raid making it's way from H.S. to College to the NFL.

In short, football and football players though bigger and faster as you go up, is football. That's not just for the defense, mind you. Kyle Richardson's or Gus Malzohns offensive players are bigger and faster. All that High School stuff people don't think will work - "WILL"!

I am looking forward to seeing it.
