Fell short on errors and leaving runners stranded. Duke wins by 1 run.

Mostly it was leaving runners on base,6 to be precise...Just don't have the lineup full of really really good clutch base hitters to win against Duke

It’s a reminder when playing teams like Duke that Clemson has a very mediocre team batting average. Duke has atleast a couple starting players hitting over 400 on the season and most of the others over 300. Needing a clutch hit to get a run in from 3rd and Hyatt is hitting 0.074. If Rittman subs in Vieira then we’re moving up to a 220 batting average.

Hyatt should have squeezed bunted just like yesterday. Even though she hit it hard to the first baseman, Rittman continues to outsmart himself.
