My legally blind mother-in-law just asked me how the duke game went...

I immediately erupted in a fit of coughing and excused myself to the bathroom because "I need to poop right this moment." Of course it's all a distraction in order to buy myself a few precious minutes and figure out how to break the news to her. She's 68 and a lifelong Clemson fan and alumnus.

What should I tell her?

Tell her we had better stats and we didn’t lose to Duke, we lost to Clemson so part of us is still undefeated.

Not the best response and I do not mean it disrespectful to her or anyone else, but being blind might have been the best way to watch the game. Again no disrespect, but honestly it was very hard to watch.
