Smith over Trevor was pure "a WR hasn't won it in nearly 30 years" here's our opportunity. Objectively, Deshaun and Trevor were the better players.

I came to the realization recently that we may have shot the moon with Valerie and stand the very real chance of having our best ever player on our first team. While I'm not sad...that's going to be both pressure for incoming recruits AND a huge carrot to dangle for the coaching staff going "We developed Valerie Cagle."

Especially seeing as she was committed to Delaware before Clemson. Had Delaware not changed coaches we may have never heard about her. Glad she changed her commitment.
