Need Help From Transfer Portal Geniuses

I believe, including DJ, the tigers just had 5-6 players enter the portal in last 2 days. Is this a common, high or low number for all NCAA teams? In other words, over the last 2 days have 500+ from FBS entered the portal. Thanks.

If memory serves me Clemson had 9 or 10 last year. Alabama had 17 players enter the portal in 2017 and they have 9 so far this year.

This is the age of college free agency. This is literally the dumbest thing the NCAA has done in a long list of stupid things. There was absolutely no reason to remove the requirements for players to sit out 1 year after their transfer. Now that schools can through money at players you can literally build a team overnight. Just look at USC where they won 4 games last year, fired their coach, hired Lincoln Riley, and used all the Snoop Dog money to put a team together that was one win from the playoff. They did this in 1 season.

As much as I hate NIL and the transfer portal, it is here to stay and Dabo needs to utilize it.

I would dare say Clemson has enough talent to make a run at the playoff next year. Cade will continue to develop and only get better as will our younger receivers. The addition of 1 more stud receiver and perhaps a DE or 2 could make all the difference in the world for this team next year.

We also need another QB. With DJ and Billy Wiles leaving, and Vizzina a true freshman, we are back a thin QB room.

Correction - Bama has 21 players in the portal in 2021 not 2017.
