the pocket protector of stadiums. should have put in recliners instead of seats as they always have plenty of elbow room

LOL a pig. I would have put "Ramblin Wreck" or "The Flats" on that sideline. Something related to one of their traditions.

I'm a fan of the "ATL" and '404" elements

Working on building a new brand and they are trying (emphasis on trying) to be THE city school. LEDs are nice.
Night game settings when GT is competitive is a pretty nice environment with that skyline...and 55,000 fans can be reasonably loud. Football team has to put out a competitive product though...so chicken or egg, etc.
Correct, it isn't Clemson...but few places are in this world.

Same as Rutgers and Syracuse marketing as "New Jersey" and New York's teams.

Like it. There needs to be more balance in the State
Tech is trying to brand itself as ATL’s team. Can’t blame them with all the local talent

Does n.carolina need more balance in its state? Would the tarholes be willing to give up their advantages?

I always kind of liked Bobby Dodd. A little old, could use some updating, but I love its city location and the skyline makes for a unique venue, and it's just not like most other places. Especially in the ACC.
Parking is always an adventure, but there's definitely a lot of worse places to take in a game.
I actually kind of hope Georgia Tech becomes relevant again. The fans have definitely trickled away over the last decade. The most hopping event I've seen there in recent memory was an Atlanta United game...they were packing in 50K even before they moved to the Benz, putting the lie to the notion that "Atlanta was just not a sports town." It definitely can be...at least if the product on the field is worth watching.
I'd love to see games against GT be actual events again.

This type thing seems to be the first and foremost concern of the HC. The appearances on Packer and Durham where he changes outfits multiple times, his Waffle House fixation, all the other stuff that just seems to be gimmicky. He will either build something that challenges us and Georgia or it will be the biggest calamity since a school hiring a coach that could not win in Florida.

Lot of talent around them. They gotta make GT cool in some fashion.

Proud Ga Tech Mama here. Let’s just say my kid blends in. So fortunate to have that school as in state. Still want to kick their backsides this season in Football.

^congrats on being a GaTech Mom. You know what a unique Institute we have in the state of GA.
Not the easiest place to have a major P5 football program.
