New nickname for clemson

there are so many teams that call themselves tigers. Why not we call ourselves
CLEMSON BENGALS

So many teams that call themselves "Tigers", but how many are manly enough to break out Orange and Purple as their colors?
Let's see...
LSU Yellow and Purple... nope
Missouri Black and Yellow... nope
Auburn Blue and Orange... nope
And all the rest are too terrible to worry about.

due to having no helmets overall and boys wore hair long so to avoid head injuries. About 3rd year (1898-9) the name Tigers stuck due to HC from Auburn. In fact, Auburn supplied Clemson with it's first 4 HC in FB...John Heisman being the 4th.
