The talent gap is so wide right now. Maybe some of our new recievers and our OL having more development time will help. As of right now though, ain't even close. I hope our program can figure out this portal and NIL era or we will soon be forgotten on a national level. Now, maybe I'm overreacting, hope so. Also, could be the meds or depression talking as I am laid up sick over my paid holiday time off.😕😆

I think it's a winnable game because of the defense. Cade needs to have the game of his career so far, but it's possible.

Georgia is always tough!
Everybody has to bring their A-Game, including Cade. We would have beat them in Charlotte if Trevor was playing QB. Cade has to step up for his Junior season! He can do it…..
Also, Matt Luke has to teach our linemen to hold like the SEC linemen. Nothing extra, just on par with them, and Big 10 linemen.

If nothing else, it serves as great motivation for our guys to work hard in the offseason. No bulletin board material needed. They get to line up against maybe the #1 or #2 team in the country in the first game. I hope our guys accept that challenge and make the most of it.

Playing them early has 2 good points. #1 As Spurrier used to say: if you’re gonna play Georgia, it’s better to play them early when they’ve got a lot of guys suspended. #2 an early season loss against a really good team doesn’t hurt you as much as a late season loss.
