No Prowl and Growl for Aiken?

I’ve attended this event for years! It’s always been packed. Now they eliminate Aiken. But include Columbia? Highly disappointed. Losing my west zone covered seats and now no prowl and growl. I have some things to reconsider. I’ve been in IPTAY 54 years. Rethinking that.

I have been a Baseball season ticket holder for 22 years. I chose center field under the flagpoles because I like sitting there. 2 weeks before season started IPTAY said I had to move. They had plans for those sections out there. I asked for a reason. "They need those sections to sit large groups that don't want to be separated " IPTAY does things for no understandable reason. They do what they want too.

Aiken also covered for Augusta Ga as well. I've also been an IPTAY for 60 years but keeping my football tickets.

I see your point. I was a member for almost 40 years and the powers that be put the squeeze on me. I parked on Fike Field for a number of years. Then I was told you must double your contribution or get moved to the practice field lot. So I said I will double my donation. I then asked will I be assured parking in Lot 1, Fike Field. I was told no since you will fall into the lower tier of your new contribution level and will probably be moved to another lot. So I told the Scribes and Pharisees to go pound sand. BTW, I lived in Aiken for a number of years and attended many IPTAY meetings there.

Iptay put the squeeze on us, now our parking is Y beach. Still kept season football tickets, but the parking sucks! Life Donors since 1979.

At least the one in Charleston has been moved out of the convention center. It’s too bad they won’t move it back to the Yorktown.

Actually yes i quit buying season tickets a few years ago as the cost is out of control. I have found that attending one away game, one home game and the ACCCT plus watching the other games on TV to be an acceptable substitute.

I have to go Florence now, I miss the days when it was in Myrtle Beach. It was there from the late 70's to around the mid to late 2000's.What seems kinda odd though is that there is no more Greenville since that and surrounding cities and counties are where the most Clemson IPTAY members are.

We had an excellent but smaller Prowl & Growl in Savannah

some years ago. One of our top Tiger distinguished benefactors moved on to that "Great Gig in the Sky" and Savannah/Hilton Head Prowl and Growl did too.
Sometimes things happen that way. Money talks.
