Before they started acting like a bunch of pre-teen girls with their whining, I wouldn't have minded them making a push for two ACC teams in the playoff.

However, after their non-stop complaining, good. Hope Houston takes a loss to Navy and then punks them.

NO TEAM who does not play in their Conference Championship game

Should be eligible for the Playoffs. And Alabama should have never been given the opportunity in 2011 for a rematch with LSU.

It should be the 4 best teams. And if three or more of the PAC-12, Big 12, B1G and ND have teams with 2+ losses, there stands a reason to justify two great teams from one conference, especially when the Clemson/UL game was two top 5 teams from the same division in a shootout.

But as I said, they acted like pansies, so I hope they don't make it.

If Houston loses today, the Cards playoff hopes go down the drain.

Not necessarily, Louisville won't drop in the rankings

Oct 8, 2016, 6:16 PM

if Houston loses, and will move up if teams above them lose. So, without another loss, they could very well finish in the top four. However, I doubt if any one loss conference champ will be below them at season's end.

UL was gonna need Houston as another signature win to make the push, and a Houston loss to Navy takes that factor away even if UL does beat them.
