Not Complaining Just an Observation

First of all I following Clemson Basketball but I don’t watch on TV. There are too many times that there is a “Charlie Brown” where Lucy jerks the ball out of the way right before Charlie can kick the ball. My observation with Brad is that he seems to start off well at the binging of the season and even wins game against good teams but then fades as the season goes on.
I believe Brad has a hard time adjusting during the season as coaches begin to figure out our team’s weaknesses. Coaches watch film and develop a plan on how to attack and Brad has no answer. This also occurs during the game. He’s a good player coach but not a X and O coach.

I have yet to see any evidence that he’s a good coach in anyway.

For sure he isn't any good for Clemson Basketball. Maybe it never happens that Clemson will get a Basketball coach that I believe that Clemson deserves, but it will be a long time before we find that out with keeping dead weight coaches around forever. Brownell should have been gone 4 years ago without any doubt....

Sorry, but if you dont actually watch on tv, it's hard to have an opinion.
You just have to look back 1 year to disprove your opinion. Last year we started off slow, and then did really well in january and ended up with a record amount of acc wins.

And got bounced as the #1 seed in the NIT to a really bad opponent.

Last season after that hot January we went 5-7 the rest of the way. It was actually a testament to the season ending futility we've suffered here under Brad.

B4 his team fell on its face, once again -- the usual.

Over time, we have found a lot of different ways to be a regular NIT team....

Under Brownell. Fast starts, bad finishes. Slow starts, good finishes. Big win streak in the middle, but not so much at the beginning and end. And our ACC tournament stuff has been bad pretty consistently.
I still have a little bit of hope. We stored up some good wins in November/December this year and have some "quality losses" in the NET (whatever that means). But we are getting dangerously close to slipping back into bubble territory. Need to win games. 1-4 in January is not going to cut it.

This happens every, single year. We've seen this movie 13 seasons in a row. Thus, the Charlie Brown football reference.

No, it doesn't happen every single year.

Your overly dramatic posts will appease the peanut gallery here, but those of us who are devoted Clemson basketball fans know better.

Those who defend him have always said he's a great X & O's coach. So, what exactly IS he good at?

I just seems to me that he has a hard time keeping the team focused enough to win games they're supposed to win. The Georgia Tech type of games are the ones that will keep us out of the NCAA tournament. Losing to good teams is not going to hurt us, but we can't lose to bad teams and expect to get in the tournament.

He is the winningest coach in the history of Clemson basketball. Need to give CBB a little lattitude.

Isn't he the coach with the most losses, too? If not, he's got to be close to owning that title. Perhaps Neff is awaiting that dubious achievement b4 cutting his salary in half.
