coming out after we've run down the hill? I guess I just he up where it was an unwritten thing the visiting team comes out first

Most times and places, I see the visiting team come out after the home team. Opposing coaches don't want to get their team intimidated before the game even starts.

I remember our last time at Duke, Duke waited at their tunnel and would not come out until our Tigers were taking the field. I am guessing they did not want our fans cheering louder than theirs.

Agree. But I’ll also say, if them coming out first means they think they can prancy their feather skirts down to the bottom of the hill to try and taunt us then they can stay in their own tunnel until we excuse them from the kiddie table.

Many times they come out together but I could care less as long as we are ready when we come down The Hill.
