I was one of the ones who said that, I stand by it. It's a strange relationship compared to what we've seen in the past but I will I liked seeing Cade go over to Dabo immediately after the 4th down play, you could tell he was upset and sorry he let his coach down Dabo looked like a Dad consoling a son, Shows me they are united and both are engaged and care. I guess hard coaching is what Klubnik responds to, but I am tired of hearing Clemson fans trash this kid 8 games in and they gave most other QBs 2 seasons before pulling out the pitch forks.

There's always at least a disgruntled player. Van Smith has been out there bashing Clemson for a few years now on various social media outlets.
I will say other than Klubnik and Mafah it looked like the rest of the offense tapped out in the 3rd quarter.

I can think of one on the team now that will probably end up pulling a Van Smith once he leaves for the draft. I think Klubnik will keep the younger guys bought in and personally I believe we could use a refresh as far as some upperclassman transferring

I have a theory about Van Smith. It was interesting when he entered the draft early. He was thought to be #4 safety in the draft going into the combine and a potential day 3 pick. He did not get drafted and I am not sure he even made a practice squad. Seems like their is some bitterness that might be driven by his failure live out his dream to be an NFL player.
