When two true Freshman (Alexander/Kearse) pick him off and makes him look like a fool??
Warning to Jawja:
Travis Blanks moves to his natural position this year, and McKenzie Alexander was the ONLY cornerback in the Florida that could cover Sammy Watkins one on one
This will NOT be a 2012 Clemson secondary Dawgs!
Aaron Murray is going to have a long night!
Go Tigers!!!

5 Touchdowns????
You really DO live in an "SEC" kool-aid drinking world.
I got 20 bucks RIGHT NOW that says Tajh Boyd has a better game than Murray!
What you SEC homers fail to realize is that Clemson is not intimidated by your conference.
450 yards? That is to funny!!

Nebraska had the number one pass defense in the nation .... until the bowl game. Murray showed out, and will do so all of next year, not just in the first game.

Murray's veteran offensive line is what made that happen. When you have an offensive line as good as that, any quarterback will look hot. Heck, I say that's even moreso the case for AJ McAaron. Nebraska's D-line wasn't able to get pressure, and that's why Murray was able to throw. That being said, I like our front 7 a lot more than Nebraska's. Of course, our secondary is still a little stale, but I say our new front 7 picks up the slack and Murray won't be having the kind of game that everyone is saying he will. That being said, he'll still go off and it'll be really close and high scoring for both teams.

If Clemson is able to pressure Murray consistently their chances to win go way up. That being said, Clemson lost Goodman and Willard to graduation and Beasley won't have the luxury of being a pass rush specialist. He'll have to play the run to the pass more than he did last year, and that will cost him a step. Grady Jarrett is capable of collapsing the pocket from the interior, but UGA has returning starters at both G spots and C that won't be pushovers.
Which side wins this battle is one of the most important matchups come game 1.

Possible but not probable unless you tigers fold the tent aka our last visit. We'll be more balanced imo having success with Gurshall and Murray.I'm just uncertain if we'll throw off the run or run off our throws.....ahhhhh doesn't really matter. WE TOO BALANCED!

if its a high scoring game Georgia loses. the only shot Georgia has to win is by keeping tigers o off the field by running the ball and using play action passing game. go back and watch the 6 games the tigers have lost since chad has been here. get to the qb, play physical man coverage, knock receivers off their routes. and finally, control the clock and limit the number of plays tiger have the ball. Georgia has the backs to do that but do the tigers have the linemen up front to stop dogs rushing attack? this is where the game will be won or lost, and dogs can not win a shoot-out at death valley. stay tuned, its almost here!

To note, UGA's DC favors physical man coverage to knock of WR's timing. Swann will be playing boundary corner, and if I'm not mistaken Watkins is moving to Nuc's position as boundary WR. That will be a fun matchup to watch.

They were ranked number one passing defense by passer rating against. That is calculated on a per attempt basis, so the number of times an opposing offense throws the ball is taken into account.

Effectively. I will be the first to admit that we had issues on defense but not many teams held them to under 150 rushing yards. The same team that lost to,bama in the closing minute. My further point was the Nebraska pass d argument has been made more than once by Murray lovers and my point remains.....their d is not a good or even necessary way for ga fans to point out te fact that Aaron Murray can throw, the ball well. Unfortunately this is how things go when ga fans feel like they have to go on tiger board to convince us that Murray will be the best passer we will see.....I already knew that. His performance against the once feared NU defense did not sway my decision

Against anybody. Nebraska is not a good example for the poster to keep using. If you thought I as attacking Murray , I guess I could have expanded my point with the Nebraska comment. The only people I know who do not think he is capable of lighting it up are the stupid coot fans in my office and I would love to see him shut them up. Just hope he has his troubles in week one

Why you live your life talking about ONE stupid fb game so much? You LOST to Bama. You've never been in their league ever since they also last humiliated you losers in Athens in a complete curb stomping.
Just like an idiot coot thinking Jawjaw is Bama with zero rings to show for it. Other SEC coaches have come and gone with your clown coach still waiting to win something and underachieving with all those farce recruiting rankings of yours.
Win something clown!

with a USCjr cousin (granted I was drunk after a long day of fishing and building deer stands and needed a CFB fix). Murray was clearly intimidated to be in W-B (which is tame compared to DV) and they ate his a$$ alive. The sideline reporter even said she interviewed him and he admitted to not sleeping well b/c of having nightmares abt Clowney. Richt admitted to the OBS when asked what happened to the pups in that game and CMR said "your fans".
If y'all were intimidated and completely dominated in the cockroach, what do you think will happen in DV? Answer....UGA will be terrified and panic. We do not fear the pups. We will be loud and out for blood. I predict a 3 TD Clemson win. The Tigers will steamroll y'all and make you wish you were back in the comfortable confines of Sanford playing Vandy. Keep up the bravado, by all means.......come Aug 31st, you'll get a very, very rude awakening.

More concerned about gurley than murray. if they can run the ball down our throat and control the clock it will keep their young D off the field. i don't want murray to have big numbers, but it may be a sign that it is a shootout and i think that type of game favors clemson. Low scoring game favors GA. Prediction CU 45 GA 35. Of course i am biased slightly.

Were not going to score 45 points again Georgia. If we do they will run Richt out of Athens before he can get on the bus. This game will play out in the trenches. Correct, if UGA can run the ball effectively, we're in for a fight. If we control the line of scrimmage and dont turn the ball over...10pt win in the Valley.

GA's defense is very young and we have a 5th year senior heisman hopeful QB and hopefully a rejuvinated Sammy. Also, the crowd will be a big help. I could see us scoring more than typical against their D. They gave up 35 to SC and 44 to Tenn last year with an experienced D. Just my opinion.

I don't believe our defense as a whole should be considered young. 3 out of 4 in the secondary will be young and inexperienced but they have a junior leader in Swann who is one of the top corners in the country. We have 2 junior MLB's. 1 OLB is a sophomore with 18 tackles and 5 sacks who many of us believe will eventually be as good as Jarvis Jones. The other OLB may very well be filled by 1 of the top JUCO players in the country, Leonard Floyd. And we have a senior at DE. We have some inexperience at NT and the other DE spot but there is great talent at those positions. There's experience at all 3 levels of the defense, especially LB. Definately wouldn't say we are very young.

And if we add JUCO Shaq Fluker into the starting lineup, a hitter on the caliber of Thomas Davis and Greg Blue lines...our secondary wont be quite so young either.

Almost half the defense has solid game time experience. NT and DE are a junior and redshirt sophomore and dont lack in talent. Were young in the secondary but there's more to a defense than DB's.

Let me just say a lot of starters have moved on and it may take a little time for them to come together and play as a team. We have an offense that many probably haven't seen and we also have a very strong QB and play caller that should be able to expose the D. I am happy we play GA in the first game and it is in DV. Sure, GA always has great talent and maybe they will come in and dominate, but I doubt it. The GA D will not be as good as LSU's D last year and Boyd pretty much did what he wanted to do against them. He took a beating and kept on ticking. Can't wait to see how it shakes out.

I don't think our D will play together as a team the 1st game. I've said in another post that I think our secondary will look silly...repeatedly. But we have a ton of talent and I'm not underselling that. We will get a few stops.
Why are yall so sure that your offense will be as good as last years? Ellingtons gone. So are Ford and Brown. McDowell and Steckinger are both downgrades. Peak and Bryant are unproven. Maybe the Dawgs defense wont have to be as good as the LSU defense. One things for sure, the Dawgs offense is a nightmare...LSU's was a game of Furry Furry Rabbit or Teacup party in comparison.
I really do think it's gonna be a helluva game.

We still have boyd and morris calling plays. i also think the depth we have built over the last few years will allow us to shuffle in different backs and keep them fresh. Nobody was saying anything about ford before the season last year and someone will step up and make plays this year just like he did. Seckinger may not be our starter once the season starts and others will definitely get some play. Our Oline has much better depth now and we only lost one last year. Interesting game for sure.

Thats nothing for him, especially with Jawjuh's #### poor high school defense.

And he debuted against Florida, a game they lost by a field goal.
We played Wofford and Troy during Sammy's first 2 games, and we rotated through the depth chart a lot those games unlike the 2011 Auburn game when we played our 1st string pretty much all game. Sammy got maybe half the playing time against Wofford and Troy then he did in the rest of the games if you look at playing time per game.
