from Texas after domestic violence charges were filed against him. I believe ultimately they were dropped.

Yes, they were dropped. The fiancé claimed a couple of days after the incident that she never told police he touched her. Who knows what the truth is but you can't hold it against him if the charges were dropped. Apparently he has had no other run ins...
