I think we have the talent to get there but honestly I’ll be pleased if we can just get out of our own dang regional for the first time in forever.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves. That HAS to be step one. The home regional game 2 curse is going to have to be broken if this team wants to get anywhere near Omaha. Not trying to be a downer though, they've been absolutely terrific so far this season and should absolutely have the talent to get there.

Not yet. I want to see us hit an Ace pitcher one time. If we host we are going to get an SEC as a 2 that has an elite arm like they always do. If we can’t hit that arm we won’t win. That’s been the case for yeeeaaarsss

Pitching is still gonna be our Achilles heel. You need a lot of good arms in the regionals and supers. It's even worse in Omaha.

still early but we have depth which is huge.

Here’s how I look look at it. Last year the pitching was like the worst thing I have ever seen for almost 40% of the season. The way that pitching staff improved with some pitchers actually making improvements and other pitchers just pitching out of their minds I am very optimistic about this pitching staff. We have proven pitchers that just haven’t gotten going yet and now our best pitcher is out and we are still winning. 5-1 in ACC games. As the season continues and the rolls are 100% defined everyone will settle into that role. That’s when the pitching chemistry takes off. One guy picking up another
