We were at a taco bar last night, and I heard a southern accent from the couple beside us and asked them where they’re from and the lady said Columbia, South Carolina! I’m from the same area, and we kind of laughed about it, and then she asked me “Clemson, or Carolina?” I told her I was a Clemson’s grad, and the couple went on to say, “merry Christmas, we gifted you one this year.” I kept it light hearted, but I asked for an explanation. And she said “well, the refs gifted it to you”,. And I said, “well thank you , we will take it, and you’re welcome for last year.” They just looked at me as if they had no idea what I was talking about. Just can’t escape coots We are thousands of miles away from Colombia and still they cluck.
