time you turn around. Pick up a wrench, turn a bolt, the wrench comes off and BAM!! You sore finger is the first thing that hits something. That is just one of the many times I have banged that sucker on something this Saturday!!!!

lol! MyFO, I don’t think it's always ‘first’. It’s just that when it DOES make contact, it hurts!

Stick it in your nose for a week. If you hurt it there, you might have a problem with just banging body parts on things, but at least you will see it coming!

That's exactly why I make it a point to never pick up a wrench, or turn a bolt. I can't be having a sore finger.
Seriously, though, I did the same thing a few weeks ago. Somehow I jammed my thumb trying to fix my kitchen faucet, and it hurt for weeks.
I hope the soreness doesn't linger for you.
